Thune could do something about it, but he won't.

Wow I never suspected something like this would happen.

Yep, this is deep state MO. Just like Bidens term was a chance for Obama to do all he wanted, yet blame it all on the old white dementia ridden puppet. Now Thune gets what he wants, yet gets to blame it on an old white feeble puppet that’s leaving. He can point his finger and play the deep state game of ‘who me?’

I look forward to Trump trashing the shite out of Thune and McConnell. The question is, will he?

Trump has made the decision to not offend Thune and put him on the spot so he can get what he can out of him. If he severes the relationship it cost him more. Politics aren’t for the purist, it’s about building coalitions. That’s something people don’t want to hear, but it’s true. See how effective someone who can’t build coalitions are.

Massie and MTG come to mind.

No telling when Turtle will leave. Strom Thurmond was 100 when he retired.

There aren’t 60 votes for cloture.

The bill is a waste of time.

McConnell is going the way of Biden... his lasting legacy will be a shuffling, ill old man who long lost touch with reality. Shame.

I guess the people of Kentucky and SD(Thune) have no influence over these bastards. Is there any outcry at all there?

They weren’t going the ‘cloture’ route this time, supposedly. They touted the idea of forcing the traditional filibuster. The house that holds tradition sacred, apparently don’t really give a shite about tradition

And you don’t think the Democrats would jump at that chance to get up there and rant and rave for days on end?

Don’t know, don’t care. They should be forced to carry their old corrupt asses to the podium and put in the work. Also, there is nothing that says if they talk for a certain amount of time that it magically kills the bill. The opposition simply has to stay engaged until the speaker steps down, then business can resume. You think these old fuks don’t need to go to the bathroom? Thune is simply giving them what they want without requiring them to put in work. It’s the deep state way.

Sure, they like to talk. But i'm taking a different stance, I'm writing to that old bag of bones despite the fact he's not my senator. I refuse to give up on this, if you're half a man you won't either, email that cockholster, everyone. You know why? Because that's what democrats would do, they'd hound the hell out of them until they get what they want.
I've been doing this for a while, emailing and even sometimes calling (when it was in the house), reps that weren't even mine. You have to put a shite ton of pressure on them. They win because you have no arse. At 8 I'll be writing that asshat and then calling shortly after, he may be too senile to read it but he won't be too senile to hear it.

I wrote and called for years. I even called McCain's office and that prick wasn't even my senator.

Is this where all the Massie fans get angry because the Save Act isn’t being advanced for a vote?
