They were obviously wanting to avoid a confrontation inside or at the door of a residence. No telling who else was in the house, children, whomever. Avoiding collateral damage.

Seriously, wouldn’t investigating the violent criminal level be prioritized? I get the need to address the illegal immigration issue, but we were sold on eradication of evil first.
