I commute in to Metairie for work and was wondering where I could get ashes at. I will not have time to get them once I commute back home.

Old Metry?
Old part of Metry?
Metry proper?
The part of Metry that everyone thinks is Kenner?
Metry that is really Harahan?

Any of the hospitals will have them with their chaplains if you care to stop at one

You need to find a reliable search engine for your questions.
Might I suggest:

Once you figure out where your office is, do a quick google search for the catholic churches around your area. They will have a website or social media post about their Ash Wednesday services.

There’s a church on Metairie Road that has a sign saying they are doing drive through ashes at LaSalle Park until 1pm.

Check out St. Angela Merici. 9am, 12pm & 6pm services
They are close to the corner of Bonnabel & Vets, behind the Ochsner clinic (don't recall the exact side street)

Melody Drive for St. Angela Merici.
Metry Road? St. Francis Xavier close to the parish line. St. Catherine of Sienna at Bonnabel Boulevard.
West of Causeway Blvd? St. Benilde on Division Street, way back in the neighborhood. St. Christopher the Martyr, one block off of Airline and Cleary.
West Metairie Ave. corridor? St. Edward at Transcontinental Drive. St. Mary Magdalene at Airline Park. Our Lady of Divine Providence, almost to Kenner.
West Esplanade Corridor? Roughly St. Louis King of France in Bucktown. St. Clement of Rome on the corner of Cleary Ave.
Veterans Corridor? The aforementioned St. Angela Merici. St. Ann on Trancontinental two blocks lakeside of Veterans St. Philip Neri out on Kawanee betwixt Transcontinental, David Drive, Veterans and West Esplanade.
That's Metairie proper.
King Edward Cigar Time is 9:16. I'm Maury Magill.

Munholland Methodist is distributing ashes at LaSalle Park until 1 pm. Here is a link with the suggested routes to drive in.

Download the Mass Times for Travel app. Does a quick search of nearby churches and times. Has several sorting features. Hasn’t let me down (except in Auckland for some reason)
