I scrolled for 20 minutes trying to find a comment that said something nice about him. Nothing.

Most of the country still has common sense. They guy was pure evil.

...but I do hope Chicago (and Illinois) honors him with a holiday. They're that crazy up there.

He was a prominent and hugely influential figure in the 80s but he seemed to disappear in the last twenty years. Regardless, you can probably credit him with creating the whole race hustler movement. Without Rev Jackson we probably wouldn't have Sharpton, Kendi, Crump, et al.

Every black out there knows he was a bad con artist and a fake. But, if he ran for office tomorrow, they would support him.

Thats the mentality of morons

He's been a radical, racist for years. He dies and then all of a sudden he's a Saint.

It's a tribal mentality and every group is allowed to employ it except white people. I think people are starting to notice.

LMAO.

He's always been a cheap race hustler. Nothing more nothing less.

He’s the reason the term African American even exists in our lexicon.

Interestingly enough I happened to come across a reel a while back with one of the real Civil Rights leaders from that era just going in on Sharpton and Jessie and their behavior immediately after the King assassination. I did not realize the vitriol and animosity a lot of blacks, especially older blacks and contemporary civil rights leaders held for these two. Messy Jessie and Al Charlatan were two names that were used repeatedly by black posters in the comments.

this is a message board/discussion forum, not some yokel hollering out into the void on youtube. have your great grandkids explain the difference to you. it's the same reason the melania movie gets a 98% audience rating on rotten tomatoes (higher than the godfather and apocalypse now) and 11% from critics - boomers and people with nothing else in their lives
