They shook-down Citibank and other banks to implement lower qualifying subprime mortgages to counter supposed racism in lending by twisting and cherry picking socioeconomic data. These irresponsible homeowners could not make mortgage payments and did not maintain the properties, causing the crisis.

I remember all that Obama did that was so crooked regarding the housing crisis. Suing the banks under Holder and forcing them to PAY Obama's ACORN and pet projects. I never really retained if Jesse Jackson was a part of it but I wouldn't doubt it.
