If not, you should.

This weekend I stopped at an after party to drop off a gift for the baby following the Baptism. Holy moly, talk about fiesta!! How did I miss the boat here for so many years?

Any pointers on getting invited to more? Tia, I’ll hang up and listen

Never been to a Mexican Baptismal celebration but I remember a Mexican wedding reception I went to and it rivaled any Cajun fest I've been to. No guns, no gangs but the food, music and alcohol never stopped coming. Us gringos were treated very well.

Thought they called that a bean dip

No seriously, Mexicans have large arse parties with music, food, and enough alcohol to put down a baby elephant for any special occasion, 1 year old party, Quinceañeras, and to no one's shock, according to you, a baptismal celebration. Cajuns and Mexicans got more in common than people realize.

So you should have this in the bag. Make sure to bring a tequila that’s NOT owned by Jose Cuervo for the host gift. Better yet, bring mezcal or sotol.

It's a Catholic thing. The Italians and Irish like to party too.

I've been to a Mexican cookout, and brother, let me tell you.......you haven't lived until you've eaten fajitas cooked on a flat top made out of an old Lincoln Continental hood. Add in the cervezas and tequila, and it was a damn good time.
