Served every year only during Lent. I was at a Culver’s earlier today here in Chicago though and they already had it, as of a couple of days ago they said. I did not buy it as Ash Wednesday is always when I first indulge. Only a few more days to wait.

When it comes to tartar sauce, I’m okay with sweet. But when it comes to just plain pickles, I’ll take dill every day of the week and nine times on Sunday.

ETA: And of course, you can get it without.

I'm weird I guess, but I prefer Culver's cod sandwich over the walleye.

Maybe I should try the walleye again. Culver's does have a good fish sandwich. Arby's has their fish sandwich back on the menu too.

Yeah I’ve had the cod a few times as well, but I definitely prefer the walleye. But hey, we’re certainly allowed to have different opinions.

Walleye is easily the best fresh water fish.

Okay you five. Name a better one. Seriously.
Rainbow trout would be my #2. Bass taste like mud. Catfish is good but not top tier.
Imo fresh Walleye is up there with gulf fish.

I didn't vote. I've never had walleye. However, it can't be better than steelhead. For those who don't know, it's a rainbow trout that actually migrates out to the ocean then back into fresh water to spawn, sort of like salmon. It tastes similar to salmon, but better.

Yeah, even though a fair number of people on this board know about Culver’s, especially for their butter burgers, unfortunately there are still no locations in Louisiana.

Closest appear to be Houston and Mobile. Bummer.

Had my first walleye a couple years ago in South Dakota. Immediately became one of my favorites.

Maybe the pic is rare size or edited, but walleye is not like red snapper or some other fish and thick filets. It’s usually thinner like bass or crappie/ sac a lait. That pic just doesn’t make me think of walley.

Given that, iwei
