I feel defensive will be fine and continue its upward trend but what about offense? How much can Lane and Charlie Jr get installed in the short time of Spring and Fall camp? I’m very excited for the future of LSU football but just wondering what everyone thinks. Thanks!

It feels like this is the year where we put it all together and are running on all cylinders.

With LSU’s NIL coffers, the realistic expectations every year should be making a 12 team playoff. It won’t happen obviously, but it should be expected.

I think it really depends on how ready Leavitt is but we could absolutely make the playoffs.

Continuity on Defense and a really solid system being installed on offense

We have the talent for ten regular season wins. We have the coaching for those ten wins to come at opportune times and against opponents who matter.

Playoff bound, maybe an SEC championship appearance. At least one win at the playoffs methinks.

Realistic expectations
Having a complete SEC Team, not 1/3 of a PAC12/Sunbelt team the previous guy ran out there each season. Add winning all non-confrence games.

Didn't LSU have the #1 portal class last year? I'd say 3 losses probably a realistic expectation

Get to the playoffs year 1 and I think everyyone is happy. Anything on top of that would be gravy.

Oh and I fully expect us to score. A lot.

I expect us to beat Clemson.

After that, we will see.

You may be correct but I expect a loss under Kiffin vs the previous guy will look different, other than the "L" in the column.

Making the playoffs.

ESPN and their ilk after Lane was hired were harping that if Lane doesn't win it all his first year then he's a failure. Just be prepared to hear that crap through out the season

For $40M roster and $100M coach, we better make the damn playoffs.

10-2

Prob win one we shouldn’t and drop one we shouldn’t. Just get in the playoffs and I’m happy

I expect that we will start slow. Huge expectations and anticipation coupled with so many transfers getting familiar with each other and the system. Expect Leavitt to start slow
But…from mid-season on I think we will be a very dangerous team. If we make the playoffs, I think we woulld win a game or two.

I love what Lane has done. Very excited for next season

But there is a nagging thought in the back of my head wondering if we’ve done enough to secure the OL
