For all these Karen’s complaining about player criticism

They all get paid and in some cases like Johnson and Williams, a lot. These are all professionals now. Stop being student athletes with NiL. Professional athletes are fare game.

So by your logic, since you do a job and get paid, I get to criticize you? Pay = criticism? Ok then. I don’t think you’re great. You’re decent but not great.

The problem isn’t criticism. The problem is the board is insufferable and unreadable when 95% of the topics are grown men bitching and moaning about anything and everything. The same topics regurgitated day after day after day.

I have no issues with legitimate criticism of their play. My issues are when they go outside of the sport they play. Even then, I'm OK with it if you do it in the right spot. Not LSU, non-athletics criticism belongs on the OT, poli board, or whatever board pertains to the specific thing that is being criticized. Definitely not in a game thread and probably not on tRant.
This thread does belong here though.

Not one example has been provided of the "unfair" or "personal" attacks, its just normal criticism. Just a bunch of butt hurt people on both sides arguing.

My mindset is, these players are getting a big paycheck nowadays, criticism is warranted as part of that paycheck.
If you're getting paid, often six+ figures, on top of a free education, room, board, food, etc., and you're not performing up to par, then too bad
I certainly don't see the players complaining about soaking up the money, education, and amenities.

I get it but they are still kids maturing so they get somewhat a little bit of a pass on some things. But they also need to see criticism it builds character

It's two sides of the same coin.
You have pathetic individuals who can't handle a disappointing loss and have to whine and complain and act injured.
Then you have individuals who can't handle a disappointing loss and have to cope by going after those that are whining and complaining.
