I think you give her too much credit.
She simply figured out she was duped by someone she thought was a fellow prog.

organic diversity is such a myth. If given the choice, "white only housing" and "black only housing" would evolve on its own. That doesn't make everyone racist. Just human. We prefer people from similar culture, ideals, and means.
Yeah, I've got one black friend. But he lives in my neighborhood. sits in my Sunday school class and works as a defense contractor. He's from Kenya so he actually appreciates the United States. He's JUST like me except he has a deep tan.
Diversity in itself is the heart of racism because it only takes into account skin color.
