GOP Senator John McCain had the deciding vote to repeal Obamacare and he voted to keep it.

We had just finished a war with a guy named Hussein. John McCain, when running against Obama, would not let his running mate Sarah Palin call B. HUSSEIN Obama by his middle name. The fix was in.

This still makes my blood boil.
Dude fricked over the entire nation so he could grandstand over TDS and give a thumbs down with his cripple arm.
What a selfish coward.

Even so, when the Dems say that the GOP is also responsible for Obamacare, they make a claim that is not crazy. The most influential GOP Senator voted to KEEP Obamacare.
GOP had the chance to abolish it - but the most influential GOP member of Congress voted to KEEP Obamacare.
It's a Uniparty problem now. The solution? SINGLE PAYER National Health like they have in the UK. Plenty of MDs and PAs from Pakistan, India and Africa can come over that work for the US National Health.

We allowed an 80 y/o man who just had brain surgery & was off his rocker to cast such a vote. We do it to ourselves.

if government has to give someone over a $1,000 a month to make health insurance "affordable' then it is not affordable.

They really show go after whoever passed that accursed law.

This is what the Dems wanted all along.
If implemented, we’ll get worse than the UK has. Permanent waiting lists for subpar care.

Congressional inaction?
The rates went up because taxpayer dollars are subsidizing the ACA any more. Congress took the correct action in cutting federal insurance entitlement funding. I pay for my own insurance. Why should my tax dollars also pay for helping someone else get better insurance cheaper?

Let's not forget Joseph Cao, single term congressman from La's 2nd district was the only Republican congressman to vote yes on Obamacare. And the heavily democrat district thanked him by doing what.... kicking his arse to the curb after 2 years.
The only reason he even got elected in the first place was because Obama was elected a few weeks earlier and the minority voters were in a state of euphoria and just didn't show up to vote in the runoff. Only way a Vietnamese guy would get voted in an African America majority district.

I'm sure that scenario is repeating itself all over the U.S.
Well I'm glad ole Dave finally heard about a problem with Obamacare. Because in his own words...
He apparently openly wept with joy when it passed congress
quote:
I wept the night the Affordable Care Act passed. Through my closed office door in the White House, I could hear President Obama and my colleagues cheer as the final tally came in from the House of Representatives that, at long last, would send the ACA to his desk. But I wasn’t there. Sensing my emotions welling, I had excused myself from the gathering in the Roosevelt Room as the votes mounted and walked across the hall to be alone and collect my thoughts....
..... All those memories came rushing back the night the ACA passed – all the pain and financial worry we had felt as young parents, struggling to keep our baby alive. I cried because I knew that because of the law that had passed that evening, many other families would not have to face the same ordeal.

I remember it was passed without one Republican voting for it.
