Is he even on the bench? Unreal we have to pay this clown $35 million next season.

Someone needs to go to Gayle and say your idiot GM traded for a guy you’re paying $70 million over two years to not play and he’s healthy.

Dumars and Weaver are historically terrible.

Imagined if we held onto CJ and traded him this past deadline.

Could've gotten something of decent value as part of the rebuild. Instead, Dumars thought we were a contender this offseason and Jordan fricking Poole was the type of player that could bolster our playoff chances.

Now, we have deadweight on the books who won't have trade value until his contract expires next season.

ETA: The sad thing is that Poole's contract isn't even in the top 2 in shite contracts on our roster right now (Zion, Murray)

Just like like the weird hate for DJM on this board, why are people mad a Poole? He came here and was the EXACT player he's always been. The exact player the morons running the team traded for.

Then they shut Poole and Hawkins down, trying to trade them. Were too incompetent to get it done, now they're both exiled for no other reason than the fact that Dumb and Dumber running the team have no idea what they're doing.

That's the risk of trying to bring in talent in a market like the Pelicans. You win when you get a Bey and sometimes you lose ala Poole.

Either way there's usually only 2 paths for a team like the Pelicans. Either you commit 100% to the process and suffer for 3-5 years or you keep gambling on trades and hope you hit on several underappreciated players while you build a competitive team.

Unfortunately, they are never going to commit to another true rebuild with this front office. Dumars and Weaver's track record has a strong tendency to make boom/bust trades. I expect them to continue this path in the summer.

this dude will not be on our team next year... we don't want him and he doesn't want to be here... something will be worked out... of all the people we talk about moving, i think he's the surest bet... we'll have to give something up to get rid of him, but there's no way he's on the roster next season

We see things the same way, there is no path to success for a team like the Pels. As a have not we don’t get to set the terms on trades with the big boys and the pittance we received for Jose is the most recent example.

On the rare occasion we hit on on a draft asset, the player gets beat down in the team culture or the 3rd world conditions of the region and wants out. We usually get pennies on the dollar and this will be Queen’s fate soon enough.

Horrible owner, GM, and city is no recipe for franchise success. It’s time to sell.

Do you honestly have nothing in life better to do? This is ALL you ever say. You add nothing at all to this board. You just sound like a miserable POS holed up in his mother's basement pounding on his keyboard. Get a life.

He's like this on every board. It's such a tiresome schtick.

The odd thing is he sticks with it even though the only replies he gets are people telling him how miserable he is. He never has any type of meaningful engagement or back and forth on here because every post is him just talking negatively about everything. Just a miserable person. Don't see how that doesn't get old for him. I can't imagine posting on here for years and never having any legit discussions about things.

Wouldn’t his contract be valuable next year since he’s an expiring? Pretty sure we don’t have to waste a pick or anything.

Also, he did pretty well in Washington. Idk what happened down here.
