Why don’t we just allocate zero NIL money to basketball next year so McMahon is so miserable he just quits ?

What about revenue sharing? Are you suggesting that we cut that off too?

Hell why not - most of the fans and team already have. No reason to pay for the product we have now

Or why don’t we just fire McMahon after this season and hire a competent basketball coach for next season and provide our new coach with hefty NIL funding?

Why do some of y'all only think about the solution right in front of your face and ignore the issues that would come up beyond that (not that this is even a solution).

A) Cutting NIL would not "hurt" the coach, as he's getting his salary.

B) Cutting NIL would show players down the road that we are willing to nuke the program if it's not working out.

C) It would make us look like a joke when it comes to recruiting future coaches.

D) I could go on...

McMahon, for a nice of a guy as he supposedly is, should have likely been relieved of his duties a couple of weeks ago, and certainly the morning after the Arkansas game.

Well we’re a joke of a program and the LSU athletic department hate their very own basketball fans so he’ll probably be here for the length of his contract. Hell, they may extend him if he ends up on the bubble one year.

Good idea! I am sure a whole lot of quality coaches would line for the job if it were open.

Agreed! Give every $$ presently allocated for Bball to Baseball. Keep Johnson Happy and upgrade The Box as that is much needed.

A Mississippi State fan suggested that MSU should save all of their football NIL for three years and then binge spend on one team in year four.

You sound like a Mississippi State fan.

And frankly, I can't think of a worse insult.
