Will there be a water bottle toss on the bench?

You mean the guy the Pelicans traded away for Kelly Olynyk. Bruce Brown and a stale chicken salad sandwich on molded rye bread?
That Ingram?
The Ingram that was the root to all the problems the Pelicans had over the last six years?
That Ingram?
The Ingram that averaged well over 20 a night on efficient shooting for the Pelicans?
That Ingram
The Ingram that is probably the most underappreciated talent this city has ever seen in any sport?
That Ingram?
Good for THAT INGRAM!!!!

The Ingram that stops the ball and acts like a pussy when he’s guarded tough and is unplayable against dort, brooks and anyone physical?

My brother in Christ, he’s in Canada now. It’s time to move on and focus your energy elsewhere. He can’t hurt you anymore.

A decent human would have helped clean his own mess up. We never saw anything like that while BI was a Pel but he probably just didn’t care enough or he was just really, really high all the time.

With all due respect, Ingram wore # 14 when he was a Pelican; not # 1. I'm kind of surprised with your confusion. One looks like a basketball player who is a triple threat, while the other 'stops the ball', has a limited game and looks like a nose tackle.

Impressive he led the team in assists while “stopping the ball.” A neat trick.

2026 BI
% of FGA where he dribbled 3+ times: 37.3%
% of FGA where he touched the ball for more than 6 seconds: 18.6%
% of FGM unassisted: 43.7%
2024 BI (since he only played 18 games in 2025)
% of FGA where he dribbled 3+ times: 49.8%
% of FGA where he touched the ball for more than 6 seconds: 25.5%
% of FGM unassisted: 52.2%
What a ball stopper, right? His 2023 stats are similar to 2024, as you'd expect.
BI was the problem and as so many of you liked to claim, he couldn't and wouldn't change how he plays.
Hope y'all are realizing what a shite show this organization is and has been, and how this roster construction and coaching has been one of if not the worst in the league the last few years.

The are also obliviously ignorant, which is why i try to provide relevant stats to prove to them they are being bias for whatever reason.

He quit on the team last year. Refused to seek treatment and never played hurt.
He wanted a 5 year max deal from us, or he wanted to be traded. He was never taking the deal he got from Toronto from us. We had to give him more, or he wanted to leave.
Maybe you can reconcile all of that. But I'm glad we moved on. This year is horrible. But at least now I don't have to watch him play grab arse on the bench in street clothes. Plus we'd be a 2nd apron team with him, and still suck. Some GM you'd make..

Some points here. Sounds like he was ready to move on

In hindsight, the decision to trade Ingram was the right one. The lack of continuity between Ingram and Williamson, who also faced significant injury hurdles, prevented the duo from ever reaching their projected ceiling as a powerhouse Western Conference tandem. The continued emergence of Trey Murphy III’s game would ultimately be stymied by Ingram’s usual ball-dominance and questionable shot selection.
quote:
He continued, “We had veteran leadership, and then we added Dejounte Murray, who brought that Spurs championship DNA. I thought we had a real chance, but sometimes you need luck. You need to be healthy and have time to build cohesiveness, and the injuries just didn’t give us that chance.” The addition of Murray before Ingram’s final year in New Orleans was one the franchise hoped would get them over the top. Before the 2024-2025 season, the Pelicans had made the playoffs two out of three years, but were bounced in the first round both times. Murray’s addition was seen as a missing piece, adding a dynamic playmaker alongside Ingram, Williamson, and CJ McCollum. To Ingram’s point about the injuries, the foursome did not play a single game together during the regular season. Murray fractured his hand during opening night in a game that Williamson also missed. Ingram suffered an ankle sprain in early December, which was his last game played as a member of the Pelicans

strange how this notion seems to happen quite often here huh. This organization sucks from the owner, to the GM's, to the coaches, to the medical staff. They are all bottom 3 in the league.
There's some of you out there that just can't stand BI, and i'm done arguing with you morons about him.
I've enjoyed watching him play for a team and organization that knows what the frick they are trying to do.
