Sarah Setka (nee Stock) is a conservative Catholic social media influencer who became famous in conservative circles last year for her Christian nationalist takes. She became engaged and married recently and even had her marriage blessed by Pope Leo XIV in Rome a couple of weeks back.

Welp...it now looks like her husband is going to be seeking an annulment soon. Turns out while they were dating she was sleeping with her boss, Elijah Schaeffer, up until the day before she got engaged. She reportedly had several pregnancy scares over the intervening time and may have even procured an abortion for herself (despite being VERY pro-life in public). She kept all of this a secret from her fiancee (now husband) and told him all the way up until their wedding night that she was a virgin.

Milo Yiannopoulos is the one who broke the story last night in a very long Twitter thread where he included an audio recording of Setka talking about her infidelity over the phone with a mutual friend.

I hope she repents of her wickedness. That isn’t a sign of a saved individual.

Who?

And why were you compelled to share a gossip story about a failed marriage?

I'd argue her actions are extremely traditional. She did what many, many women before her have done.

Obviously this story of one lying whore completely wrecks the idea of traditional marriage and moral virtue. I'll start cheating on my wife this week. Thank you for freeing me.

There appears to be solid grounds for an annulment. After investigation by the Parish tribunal that a marriage thought to be valid never actually existed due to a defect at the time of consent.

What was that defect:

I know not every person on this board knows the name of every conservative podcaster out there, but Sarah Stock has had a very sizable impact on Catholic twitter over the past year. She's spoken at CPAC and has been interviewed by conservative players like Michael Knowles and Matt Walsh.

This is definitely a black eye for Christians because of how prominent she was in that circle of social media.

Is this supposed to be a gotcha?!

Her behavior was not in anyway in line with traditional Catholic morales. Doesn’t mean that other girls and women shouldn’t try to be live virtuous lives.

Living virtuous is still the ideal. A lot of people happen to be broken and full of sin and fall short of that. In some cases falling very deep into sin. They should repent, ask for forgiveness, and stop sinning.

The only difference is the left simply will look at her and say she is in fact not doing anything wrong, and she is actually empowering herself with this behavior. So the difference is our side is telling her the behavior is sinful, and the other side is doing the opposite.

How moronic would someone have to be to believe in a conservative catholic social media influencer?

Not really. Christians sin all the time.

This a chance for Sarah to repent.

I think because there is a political connection and war being fought on Christians.

The left and those that seek to bring down those institutions (that we very much need to return to) will use this as a political/cultural tool to weaken those institutions.

While not explicitly political, it certainly is connected (and I have no idea who this person is )

It's not a black eye for Christians.

It's a black eye for her.

Any real trad Cath woman would not be messing around on the podcast circuit and going to these CPAC events. They would be living quieter lives at home raising children and taking care of the house. The husband should have been wary of her and her public persona.

Real Trad wives are not on instagram and TikTok.

Never heard the name of the bride or the groom. Seems the bride was living a lie and God exposed her.

No.

As a conservative Catholic myself, this pisses me off. I listened to her podcast on the reg and enjoy follow her on social media. I hope she recovers from this and comes out better for it, but it sucks because there will be people out there going, "Gotcha!"

Schadenfreude is alive and well in 2026.

Pretty sure we are all sinners. She just needs to repent and quit sinning.
