Is there anyone else on here that really doesn’t give a shite about LSU basketball in the grand scheme of things especially when we have all of these other amazing sports that are successful and basketball is just a woke sport that has been crammed down our throats for years just like the NBA?

I would prefer basketball to be prosperous, of course.

I won't say I don't give a shite because I still root for LSU regardless of the sport. But I will say in the past three years, I forget they have games until I get to the rant the next day.

I don't follow basketball at all, LSU or otherwise. Just don't enjoy the sport. Gun to my head, I couldn't name a single player on the team.

I would like them to be good but to be honest, I haven't watched basketball, pro or college since the ladies won the championship, so I guess I really don't care.

It's pretty fun to watch when you're winning.

Loved that team that beat Duke in the tournament.

I definitely want them to be competitive, but basketball ranks a distant 3rd behind baseball and football for me personally. I also realize the financial implication that they bring in more money than anyone besides football.

Im in this boat as well. I do love college basketball, and LSU being good makes it that much better. However, LSU football and baseball losing effects my mood way more than it should. Basketball losing isn't a big deal to me.

That probably has a lot to do the fact that the other two sports winning is expected more than basketball during my lifetime though. I didnt miss many basketball games during the Will Wade era. I've probably watched 5 basketball games this season. Its just dead to me until McMahon is gone.

It is great having a good basketball team to bridge the gap between football and baseball season. The build up to making the dance is exciting but I have given up on it happening for a while now.

I’m not the biggest basketball fan, but if you’re calling things “woke sports” you should probably see a shrink.

People are going to hate you for this, but I feel the same. I mean sure it’d be really fun to be able to watch and cheer for them in March. But I just find it really hard to watch basketball so regardless on if good or not it’s not major for me. Would still be fun though and may make me actually sit through a game.

I get so wrapped up in football, UFC, hockey, and getting ready for baseball that I tend to overlook basketball but I will say, March would be exponentially more fun with the Tigers in the field.

Wish every basketball court in the world would fall into a black hole personally.

Prefer basketball over all other sports, but I want them all to be equally successful. It's just more fun as an LSU fan when everyone is winning.

I think he really means the NBA more than college basketball. The NBA has gone left politically for sure since Covid but it's also become a pretty terrible product for the most part. Between LSU being terrible at basketball and the NBA becoming a contest of who can take the most bad 3's, I tuned out of basketball for the most part.
