While this is likely true, and CCR may be his primary reason for coming here, don't down play the presence of a Coach like Kiffin and his effect on recruiting. These kids know he's a winner and the positive momentum he has already created will certainly help lure some bigger recruits.

I don't think that it is the kiss of death but pretty irrelevant at this point since SW has quite the tendency to change about 3 times during a prospect's recruitment. And I'll always remember he had Colin Simmons coming to LSU the better part of a year only to change to Texas at relatively the last minute. Like I said, totally irrelevant this far out.
