Elevated CO2 Levels have been detected in the Digital Media Building. A full building evacuation has been initiated. LSU EHS and Facility Services are onsite to assist in clearing the building and determining the cause. There will be no re-entry until the issue has been cleared. Please avoid the area. Continue to monitor LSU texts and emails for updates.

So are you suggesting that they do not need to evacuate and simply open windows instead? Just asking for clarity on your co2 position.

Honestly I was just being snarky. I’m fully aware of CO2 poisoning

Are we confusing carbon dioxide with carbon monoxide? I wasn’t aware the we really measured carbon dioxide levels in buildings.

This has to be elevated CO (Carbon MONOXIDE) levels and it got auto corrected into CO2...

You can have CO2 asphyxiation; it's just not as common. Weird in this circumstance either way.

This is what happens when their engineering department participates in carbon capture research.

Did it jump from 0.042 all the way to 0.043%
