What will Governor Ron Desantis do with 1,000,000 plus incapacitated iguanas? Cracklins?

Imagine a 10 pound iguana falling on you from from the tree above. That could do some serious damage. Are iguanas edible like bull frogs? Regardless, a solution needs to be found quickly, especially before breeding season!!
Iguanas dropping like flies out of Florida trees.

That's a lot of meat. I do know frog legs and some snakes are delicious. Maybe Governor Ron Desantis, after he gets him a couple of pairs of iguana boots made for his next campaign, can sign an executive order and get fresh iguana meat to market!!

They should be ground up into pet food or tossed in the ocean.
Those things are everywhere in S FL.

I believe I will tenderize it with pressure to about 1/3", hit it with some Church seasoning, dip it in egg, then flour and place it into the fryer at 375 degrees until golden brown and floating.
Now, do I use tartar or remoulade sauce for dipping sauce?

Wait till the temp warms and they wake up and crawl back into the trees.

So that is how they will evolve.

I follow a few people who hunt them. Those suckers are huge and the hunters have the dogs go get them after they stun them with an air rifle. It’s pretty sweet.
