We should stop allowing nerds and people who hate sports to be decision makers in sports

What a weak attempt to create 2 mini Super Bowls.

Eh. I kinda agree its dumb that you play 17 games then a championship game in god awful conditions that dont allow for the better team to win and also produce a shitty game

None of the other major sports really have this issue

There will be very few teams that will play in open weather stadiums within 3 years.

All moving to domes:

Broncos
Browns
Chiefs
Bears
Commies
Titans

Only remaining outdoor weather teams:

Bengals
Bills
Ravens
Steelers
Packers
Panthers

Bengals Ravens Steelers Panthers will likely be wanting new stadiums within 15 years.

Any new dome should be retractable roof and they shouldn't be allowed to have the roof closed unless having it open is dangerous to players or fans (lightning, subzero temperatures, or temperatures over 95).

Before we do this retarded shite maybe figure out that shitty record division winners don’t deserve to HOST playoff games over teams with 4-5 more actual wins in a 17 game season.

NFL has no shortage of stupid ideas.

Imagine an NFC title game with the #1 seed Falcons having to play the #5 seed Saints in New Orleans because the Superdome was selected as the neutral site location before the season started. The melts would be off the charts

ETA: unless they only chose neutral site stadiums to host the opposite conference’s championship. Where New Orleans would only ever get the AFC title game and somewhere like Indianapolis could only ever host the NFC game

The world is soft. Football should only be played outside

When I was younger, sure I thought games in weather was cool. Ive sat in stadiums in rain or blizzards. I will tell you, controlled climate is so much nicer. Sit down, have a beer, everything controlled. Much better viewing experience.

The main culprit is gambling.

Take that shite out of the equation and all these stupid changes go away

Except that’s what they’ll be.

The NFL has expert marketing and financial teams who know better than anyone how to forecast their future profits. They don’t care at all about football fans. Those of us who grew up playing football and watching NFL Films with Steve Sabol? We’re not even considered.

They’re looking at gambling, TV, and social media markets. As long as the NFL can build their brand as a top entertainment option, they will continue to make decisions that do so.

So when you and your friends sit around and talk about how no one watches the NFL anymore yet somehow they get higher ratings, know that it’s people you absolutely do not identify with that are filling the coffers.

Why can't the better team win in conditions that affect both teams equally?

If you’re the better team you find a way to win no matter what
