Didn’t realize that Williams played for the Commanders.

Really?

First black quarterback to start, and to win, the SB. Was a big deal at the time. Also threw a record 5 touchdown passes in the second quarter so he's known for that.

Ah, I missed that because it was using the logo and not the name. The others made only minor changes to their logo.

I figured he was a younger fan who remembers DW as coach of Grambling.

Furthermore:

Seven quarterbacks born in Louisiana have started in the Super Bowl, combining for 14 total appearances and nine victories. These players include Hall of Famers Terry Bradshaw and Peyton Manning, two-time champion Eli Manning, trailblazer Doug Williams, as well as Stan Humphries, Jake Delhomme, and David Woodley.

Out patterns were 20 yards downfield, there was no shallow cross unless you wanted your head removed by the linebacker and the flat was for the official.

Before Brady/Brees dink and dunk NFL and before Bill Walsh and the WCO...teams played more Raider-ball (the deep ball) compared to today....but everyone singles out the Raiders because Al was still obsessed with it long after it went out of fashion.

The only modern (1990 - present) - when every team started going West Coast offense, NFL QB in the Top 25 of Yards per Pass Completion is Jay Schroeder and he played for the Raiders.

Damn, look at all the Louisiana boys on that list. Additionally, you might as well add Brett Favre as a Louisiana guy, given how close he lived to the border.

AI generation is still working out some major kinks, like context.

Doug Williams was also never a Commander.
