Sean Payton had a bad habit of reaching for free agents because of impatience.The Saints needed a CB so he reached for Jason David who was a Tampa 2 zone corner and tried to make him a man to man player.You never should sign a free agent who doesn’t fit your scheme.SP did that all the time,that’s one of the reasons why they only won 1 SB.

Fred Thomas is a good metric of who is a true Saints fan and who just regurgitates shitty takes. He was our best CB for a long time until he got old and hurt.
