Bill Cassidy polling attack strategy for JL

Just got done with a phone survey about the LA Senate race. Lone story short, the last round of questions asked if you were told the following things about Julia Letlow, would you be more likely or less likely to vote for her or would it have no impact. Statements tried to link her to Nancy Pelosi, insider stock trading, and DEI hires. I answered no impact to each statement.
For those of you that never answer a number you don't recognize, you really miss out sometimes.

I’d vote for Mitch Landrieu before I ever cast a vote for that fricking weasel Cassidy.

e.g.,
If you were told the following things about Bill Cassidy:
(1) He had sex with a male minor,
(2) He was found in bed with a dead girl,
(3) He hates LSU and LSU sports,
(4) He is a major McMahon supporter, but wants Kiffin, Johnson, and Mulkey fired,
(5) He voted for Michael Dukakis.
>>>>> would you be more likely or less likely to return him to the US Senate, or would it have no impact.<<<<<<
Notice ... no actual accusations were raised.
But #5 is true.

Which polling company do you work for or do you work for that POS Cassidy?

Mrs. udtiger got the same survey. She was pissed and read them out about their bullshite and refused to complete the survey. Said she would never vote.for Cassidy just because of that survey.

Republican Sen. Bill Cassidy described the case against former President Donald Trump for allegedly mishandling classified documents as “almost a slam dunk” and said he thinks Trump should drop out of the 2024 presidential race.
“I mean, you’re just asking me my opinion. But he will lose to Joe Biden, if you look at the current polls,” he told CNN’s Kasie Hunt on “State of the Union.”

Hey Snake- We have long memories.

Poll, that wasn't a poll. That was brainwashing in disguise.

A push poll is an interactive marketing technique, most commonly employed during political campaigning, in which a person or organization attempts to manipulate or alter prospective voters' views under the guise of conducting an opinion poll. In a push poll, large numbers of voters are contacted with little effort made to collect and analyze their response data. Instead, the push poll is a form of telemarketing-based propaganda and rumor-mongering masquerading as an opinion poll. Push polls may rely on innuendo, or information gleaned from opposition research on the political opponent of the interests behind the poll.
Generally, push polls are viewed as a form of negative campaigning.

Hope he is a better doctor than a political leader.....prolly bad at both based on history.

Neither, although I did work for a market research company in high school. We did the occasional political polls.

I dare them to call me.

There is no chance that I will vote for Bill Cassidy.
Zero.
There’s nothing you can tell me about his opponent that would change that.

That very ad was on TV tonight. First time I had seen it. He’s after her already.

Yep saw that as well.
So this is NOT just "push polling", made-up stuff. May be stretching the truth, putting 2 and 2 together to get 5, but it IS negative stuff that Cassidy is putting out in ads now.
Makes me dislike him even more, and in fact it will backfire and hurt him more than help him.

Cassidy's brother was a starting O lineman for LSU. He also played but only in high school as an OT on a state champ team. Not good enough for college.

I no longer support Cassidy but he has saved a lot of lives, and I heard that directly from patients. That he was their last hope.

Could have been from Fleming or any other of the candidates.

I hope Trump does a campaign rally for Letlow (I don't know anything about Letlow, but I'm 100% ABC in the Republican primary, and I think I saw where that Fleming guy dropped out).
