Does anyone else find Tim Brando to be insufferable?

He seems as though he is constantly patting himself on the back for who he knows, what he did, where he worked, etc.
He just put this on Twitter:
“I just got told stuff but I’m not going to share…”
Then why say it?
Dude wants so badly to be relevant.
He was also a clown during the whole LSU/Kiffin stuff.
He just put this on Twitter:

Just heard from @CoachSHoltz after texting with him and will certainly respect his families privacy, but his message was encouraging. They’re well aware of all the ??????his Dad is receiving around the country and world. He did add, “He’s still fighting the fight.” I’d expect nothing less from Lou. Quick story on Coach. Lou loved being the @NDFootball Coach in ways no other could. Our Friday Night “All About Us Dinners”we called them @CBSSports, were epic and Lou an incredibly gifted Speaker was like our Weekly Keynoter! @CraigJames32 was always with us, and he’ll remember too. We did a lot together even called an @NFLonCBS games a couple of times. Towards the end of these Friday dinners he’d grab up salt & pepper shakers and left over wine glasses and diagram plays on the tables. Pretty soon people from other tables would come over and watch.?? I’d laugh and say who needs to watch @survicbs? Friday Nights with Coach Lou in Manhattan? Much better!

Don't really know what happened to him, I loved him during his early years but he turned and became a bitter and miserable SOB.

Corresponds with his diminishing importance.

I called his show 1 time and had an argument about the BCS vs AP/UPI (based totally on media votes and subject to bias and opinion). I opined that the BCS was far superior and he told me that I was just wrong.

Tim is definitely the kind of guy who goes to the local bar every night to try and get recognized.

doesn’t even have to do that, I have friends who are neighbors with him, he just walks next door to dominate conversations and tell you how fabulous he is

His career is littered with “could have beens” and he’s probably bitter about it.
He was so close to grabbing the brass ring but he just never quite got there. Made some bad career choices.
None of his generation of fellow broadcasters align or interact with him, that would lead you to suspect he’s all about himself.
He’s stuck doing mid-level stuff and dropping names trying to be relevant.

Yes, he's terrible.

Tim-Don't-You-Who-I-Am-Brando was well known on the B.R. restaurant circle as trying to use his name to get into booked restaurants with no reservations. He also tried that line at least 3 times on local LEO who stopped him for speeding.

I don’t. He’s one of the best announcers around. Knowledgeable, to the point, doesn’t speak in ridiculous hyperbole like 99% of them do. I like him a lot.
