Sinners was entertaining, but I'll be watching One Battle After Another again.

I wouldn't pass on either.

I haven’t seen it, but I hope the answer is Sinners because I saw One Battle After Another and it was not entertaining

Sinners is the most easily accessible and has broader appeal

OBAA was one of the more fun Theater experiences I’ve had

Watch both

OBAA was meant to be “offbeat”

just watched both recently for first time and Sinners was more entertaining
OBAA to me was silly, some parts of sinners was also

I also see a lot of the meaning behind the vampire part in Sinners and the music but the movie would've been better if it was the 2 brothers on the run from the Italian and Irish mob for robbing them while also fighting the Klan at home in clarksdale

I went with Sinners today. It was very good and great once the club dance scene happened

It's based on a Pynchon novel so It's meant to be absurdist satire.

The subject matter is shite, but technically the film is unbelievable.

I’ll never watch sinners again. I’ll likely watch One battle again at some point.

I wonder how many people turned it off after the credits started rolling and missed the scene with Preacherman in the 1990's. That scene is crucial to the movie and brings it all back together. Why they added it post credits start, I don't know.

For some reason it is becoming cool to shite on it. . .but Sinners is one of the best movies in a long time.

Definitely agree. I almost did turn it off and was disappointed they ended it without showing the brother get killed on screen

We all know the answer, regardless of that fact it was still a good movie. Sometimes you just have to put political crap aside and try to enjoy something without nitpicking everything that you don’t agree with. The number of nominations it gets doesn’t change the fact that it was fun and entertaining, at least it was IMO.

That is some of it, probably way less than you think. Pretty much every *right-wing dude I know loves the movie.

Most of it is hipsters and movie snobs. . . by a huge margin

When things get popular, quickly, the hipsters have to start shitting on it, so that we will all remember they have the most refined tastes

How else will we know how smart they all are?

* I mean actual right wingers, not the MAGA larpers. Their entire political position is a guy, not a philosophy.

I liked Sinners and would watch it again. One Battle After Another I didn't care for.
