Gold is well over $5,000.00 per ounce. Silver is well over $100.00. Something monumental is about to happen. I just wonder what it is.

Something will crash. Maybe Gold and Silver. Maybe the economy. Maybe both. It's coming. Whatever IT is. Unfortunately, I'm not prepared.

Imaginary bitcoin is worth 70k. Why do you believe something monumental is going to happen? Why hasn’t it and why now?

Inflation does not happen at a constant rate across all items at one time.
Printing all those dollars has a price…

It should be a sign that the dollar is weakening and massive inflation is coming, but so far its not here. Don't know wtf is going on with the bigger picture right now.

The dollar is being devalued just as Trump laid out in his economic plan

Silver moves closer to gold.

I heavily bought in 2022. Feeling good.
Took some profits.
Still heavy silver and gold. Shifting more to gold.

It’s the amount of money printing. Silver is still too low IMO.

The dollar will collapse and be replaced by a gold (or silver) backed currency.

Turns out that continuing to run $2 trillion deficits, printing money, and debasing our currency by over 10% has a consequence.

My grandfather got me into buying when I was young. I have always bought gold and silver when I could. To be honest in an extreme apocalyptic setting I would be targeted trying to use it.

quote:I hope (not really). I invested a shite ton in silver @ $17-18/oz for about 5 years in a row a while back. It is worth a whole lot right now. Just sitting on it. When the shite-pocalypse happens, I may be able to buy chickens and potatoes.
Silver moves closer to gold.
Seriously, when I was doing that, the independent seller was talking about collapse. So, I also invested in a shite ton of Glocks, shotguns, and rifles.
Good luck fellow travelers.

I feel like if you can outcast the first few months of a shitshow you may be OK to spend it. People gonna be violent. You keep showing up to buy chickens with gold and people gonna know you got some

My wife said we should buy more silver and gold in case of societal breakdown. I told her bullets were cheaper.

You need a compound. Suburbia wont cut it

I sure AF hope this is true. Will suck for a while while the price system works out the kinks, but the size and scope of government will be crushed if this were to happen.
Totally worth it.

Correct. As a result, the credit worthiness of the US , and US Treasuries has become less desirable by many foreign governments . The current carry trade is unwinding in Japan … and that is helping drive the USD down.
Gold often trades inverse to the USD … as we are witnessing.
