But he may seriously have to re-visit this.

And I have been supportive of this coach. I hate all the lynch-mob, fire the coach screamers, but goddam this is awful.

Then you’re part of the problem that we are seeing right now

It was dumb to say that and now they're having the waste more money on promotions to try to get people to games.

There is nothing to be gained by a mid season firing. This team isn’t going to magically play better with a new coach. Just ride it out.

There is no real benefit. Season is long gone and no injuries didn’t ruin it. This brand of basketball lends absolutely zero chance of success or sustainability. Its over. Sad to watch.

Why? This has essentially been the norm his entire time here. Who the hell supports a guy that is 15-350 in his time here.

Of course you were, you had no idea what you were seeing when you watched the games. Typical LSU fan

Dead fricking wrong. They fired BK after A&M because they said "that shite will not stand here". If there's anywhere they need to send that message it's a program they have let flat out rot. But they have no standards for Men's basketball so they'll just let it keep rotting for a month and half.

The real benefit is David Patrick is probably a better coach than McMahon.

This is not true. They fired BK midseason because Florida fired Napier and they knew they were going after Lane Kiffin.

BK was fired because he was a jerk and the hiring firing timeline for football coaches starts way earlier than basketball. What exactly does a mid season firing accomplish? We all know the coach and team sucks, and it’s pretty obvious lsu isn’t bringing McMahon back next season.

Can surely see this angle. Can also see that a change could be good for the players. They’ve got to be zoning out McMahon by now. Wish I had the answer. I just hope we can hit on the next coach. Ugh.

Maybe so, worth maybe an extra sec win at best. This roster needs to be torn down along with every other facet of the program.

Prove that somebody actually knows this program exists and kinda cares what the dwindling fanbase thinks.

Hire a good coach and invest in next years roster would be more effective. Pmac is gonna be a tomb the rest of this year no matter how many coaches we fire.

Firing him now doesn't preclude you from doing that.
