A long range acoustic device is a violation of the 14th amendment… but the whistles are okay

Wait are they using those? I didn’t see anything about that. Are there settings to make them more or less painful?

Local LEOs used it Monday night. The reactions didn't look impressive.

yes, they can increase or decrease the dB
quote:
Intensity: Devices can produce sound levels up to162dB at 1 meter, with "deterrent" tones often reaching 110-130 dB

In Minnesota, impeding a police operation can be classified as a felony under the law, particularly if it involves obstructing legal processes or fleeing from a peace officer. The specific penalties can vary based on the circumstances of the offense.

Protest is fine.
Physically disrupting is not and can get you killed.
Better to use LRAD than escalating to rubber bullets and then to real bullets.

Better than picking up a flash bang before it detonates

The temps there won't be above freezing until 02/05, they should be spraying them with water cannons.

Why is law enforcement making this complicated? Just call in the fire department and hose them down.

Somebody's brother in-law has an LRAD contract with local law enforcement.

How would you get water pressure in subzero temperatures?

Do Minnesota households have no water right now? If you’re referring to the amount of pressure needed for a water cannon, I can’t comment on that. It would seem to me that the pressure is created by the machine, but I really don’t know.

They are designed to work in sub zero temps but alas it is against international Human rights standards to use in sub zero weather conditions. guess its just rubber bullets and flash bangs for now

Aren’t these neutralized by the earplugs you can get at any pharmacy? They sure seem to work for airport ground crews.
