Hospitals, daycare, colleges, etc continue to increase above wages.

Tech goods continue to plummet in price

One thing that interested me is that from 2000-2025, wages actually outpaced housing, meaning the real cost of housing fell

LEGO doesn’t fall in the toy category. Those bricks continue to remain expensive and an investment. My brother has a couple clone wars minifigs from 2012 that are now worth $60 each.

Think about what the top 2 have in common with each other and what the bottom few have in common with each other.

Top 2? Government subsidized. (robbing the taxpayer)

Bottom 2? Bread and circuses. (distracting the taxpayer)

Bingo. When you involve government and insurance and student loans and all that bullshite, the price is going to skyrocket every time. Why wouldn't it?

Exactly why you can get fricking LASER EYE SURGERY for $3k but an ER visit for a fractured ankle or something will run you triple that

TVs and weed are the only two things I can think of that haven't gotten more expensive in the last 30 years.

It’s almost as if the govt guaranteeing student loans has had a negative effect on prices. Who would’ve thought?!

Yeah, but if we just address existing debt and not the root cause we’ll be golden.

281% and 147% for medical and people have the audacity to blame insurance companies for rising premiums
