They know far more people are like sheep who are willing to be led by the herd leader. Polling creates that "leader". Polling numbers are powerful and even with this past election, the democrats know how close they got running two absolute losers as candidates!!

Whether or not it is illegal will be based on why it is faked.

Unfortunately since Obama made domestic propaganda legal in the US (Smith-Mundt amended) if this is done for those purposes it is not illegal.

However, we now know that vote shaving is happening in red districts and that false polls are the primary cover to make that shaving plausible/believable. That is indeed illegal.

Let's pretend that poll is true. The majority of the country supports deportations still. Polls show this, so let's not cherry pick polls for just our side. Americans want deportations but many are pussies who fall for sob stories.

So, Trump has 2 options. Stop enforcing immigration laws, which will piss off conservatives. Or continue enforcing immigration laws, which will piss off weak conservatives and democrats.

Trump can either give the people what they want and ignore their whining while improving the country, or he can go back on a campaign promise because of feelings and continue all the negative repercussions of illegal immigration.

The non-emotional response is clearly to continue enforcing the law against the outcry of the democrats and their "conservative" sympathizers, especially since polls show that people still want deportations.

Only enforcing the law in cooperative states, as you have suggested, is not a valid solution. It is giving up. It is showing the democrats that they can get whatever they want if they harass enough people.

Your solution is to give in to the mob. That's a terrible idea no matter how you look at it. The only viable solution is full steam ahead. People will forget about the sob stories in days. They will remember the safer neighborhoods and better economy that comes with removing people who don't belong here long after.

I really believe POTUS Trump will simply continue doing what he feels is best for America. Will underlings make mistake? Of course, but overall, the direction is excellent , Walz and Comey are singing, and the next sanctuary city with fraud activity has already been set for a VISIT!!
