Have you ever been to a protest or march of any kind?

I never have nor am I aware of any that I had an opportunity to attend.
My city must suck. We just live our normal lives with our normal kids and churches. Somehow people of all colors, ages, genders and ethnicities just get along.

Peaceful protests in modern day are just selfish "feel good" things. They don't accomplish anything, which is why many turn destructive and violent.

Once in college, to protest budget cuts.
Also did a march for peace on MLK Day. Wasn't a protest as there weren't any wars going on.

I could see going to a March for life or something of the sorts. But still not sure it accomplishes anything.
These people are literally marching for the freedom of people that rape and kill and rob them in their own city. Like why doesn’t Waltz just offer for them all to move into the gov mansion.

Went to the first Tea Party gathering at the Louisiana Capital. Media said it was a bunch of radicals but all I saw were normal average everyday working people.

No, but I might.
They closed the nearest Dairy Queen location, It's a fairly new location so something will go in there soon.
If it's anything besides a Popeye's I'm gonna raise hell.

The college budget cuts? Or the government's?

I choose not to attend protests. But the people who do it peacefully don't bother me. As long as they aren't obstructing traffic or causing problems I don't see why it's anything to get worked up about

It is an industry
They are employees
Every now and then the police have to kill one
It is all a part of the business plan

No, I have a life and blocking sidewalks is not my idea of a fruitful endeavor.

Not on purpose. Walked into a Communist party protest on accident in Greece one time. We were on liberty, just looking for a spot to chill and have a beer. Next thing we know, we're surrounded by protestors. Bailed out of there quick.

I’ve learned to appreciate and be thankful for a ‘normal” life, with normal people, normal neighbors, normal friends and coworkers.

Maybe I’m lazy. Maybe I lack strong principles. But I’ve yet to believe so strongly in anything [or against it] that would compel me out to walk in the streets to protest.
