Mc out coached.
Kept his best post man on the bench with three fouls too long
Doesn't know how to protect a lead
Simply switch coaches with Arky and we win
Verge will address this. Another Woodward disaster

Nwoke seems to get gassed very easily. The narrative has always been his limited minutes are due to foul trouble and many times that's the case. But he was sucking wind hard at times out there and at least once had to sit for that reason.
I had some questions on just waiting to long to adjust defensively to NO. 5. He'll he even had Mackinnon on him once. Finally we tried zone and that didn't work because it was so passive at the point and finally started gapping and trapping him and that at least got the ball out of his hand.

Outcoached? Well duh....Calipari has outcoached plenty coaches. You guys are worse than McMahon supporters, keep beating the same drum over and over.

AR made 10 of 22 3-pointers. We made 3 of 15. Rebounding kept us in the game. Poor foul shooting late in the game hurt us, and another 3-pointer by them sealed it.
None of your comments are why we lost the game.

If Arkansas had made the numerous layups they missed and their usual percentage of free throws it would have been a 20 point blowout. See how that works

If by outcoached you mean recruited better players then plenty of coaches.....yes.

Arkansas has a Better Coach and Better Players and spends a ton more NIL $$ on Basketball than we do!

We lost because Darius Acuff Jr., he caught fire in the 2nd half

He looks like the guy who comes to your table at an Italian Restaurant and asks if everything is alright.

There’s no shame in losing to the hogs at Budd Walton
The shame is in the big picture of lsu basketball and drowning in mediocrity and apathy for so long
Hopefully Verge can raise money for a coach with new energy and sufficient funds for a good roster
McMahon isn’t a terrible coach and he’s been behind other schools with nil
He also was bitten by bad luck with injuries but eventually the excuses are old and a fresh start is warranted
Barring a miracle turnaround, a change is needed

This is true, and it always baffles me that folks try to conflate anything they think they see in 1 game that basically goes the way it was expected to go as indicative of coaching flaws. The issue with McMahon is not that he lost this game, it's that he does not seem to win games he should.

I agree that he is not a terrible coach, and I think he came into a bad situation. But after three and a half years, he does not look like he belongs in the SEC or any power conference.

Actually, this is probably the one instance that isn’t true. Inexplicably, Cal is the only HC McMahon has had moderate success against.
If there was a coaching move that lost the game it was the late defensive adjustment to stop Acuff. Once he finally put the bigger Tamba on Acuff it shut him down. Unfortunately, that was after he’d scored something like 12 straight.
Again, this wasn’t a bad performance by LSU. Winning against a good Arkansas team at BWA was never going to be likely. But when it’s your 46th SEC loss fans don’t really care about a “good effort.”

Same could be said about all the coaching greats....Coach K, Lute Olsen, Bill Self, Jim Boeheim...

Nwoko has gone on a milk carton since SEC started…. Physical freak that dominates weak non conference, then goes missing starting January?
