What do Republicans have to do to keep congress? And, what do Democrats have to do to gain a majority?

What issue(s) will decide?

Immigration?
Greenland?
Foreign Policy (Venezuela? Iran? Israel?)
Costs?
Wokeness?
A major issue we don’t know as of yet?

The president's party always loses ground in midterms due to people blaming them for anything they feel is wrong.

BUT - The democratic party has never been this backasswards on every 80/20 issue, they just had a Dr who couldn't admit that men can't get pregnant.

They are all in on illegals spending tax dollars on food, shelter, healthcare on and on.

If the "silent majority" will vote this year could be different.

Yes, but it's probably wise to keep expectations low. It seems like anytime this kind of possibility gets on the radar it doesn't happen.

I'm afraid we're fricked for the mid terms. Bondi and the FBI dragging their feet with the Epstein files, no matter how irrelevant at this time, is just the start. We have lost the center right liberals due to the edited clips being broad cast on MSM and the representations that ICE is having to resort to to do their jobs. Riots are ramping up, it will be "The summer of love tour" all over again. The MSM has done nothing but push a false narrative from everything to ICE kidnapped a 5 year old child to they're murdering citizens in the street for no reason.. No one wants their cities to burn so they will cave like in 2020 and hand the country back to the Retards and Blue haired Karens. All its gonna take now is for Trump to give the Dems what they truly want and send in the military to quell the uprising. When this happens there will be blood in the streets. After that happens his term will further go to shite . More RINOs will expose themselves by siding with the Dems to stand against Trump, they'll have no chose if they want to save their seat and keep their grift going. When the Dems regain power, every one in this administration with have articles of impeachment against them and the next 2 yeas will be nothing but hearings. Nothing else will get accomplished. They'll continue to print money driving us towards Socialism. At some point Vance will start to distance himself if he wants to have a chance in 2028...Face it fellows the feckless GOP in the house and senate are going to continue to frick us time and time again with bullshite Bills that are driving us further into debt that our great grandkids will never be able over come...were fricked

Yep, the party of the POTUS is either a victim of its own success or victim of its own failure. When successful, people of that party are happy and too lazy to maintain it. When a failure, those same people are pissed and unmotivated.

POTUS must get real active and fight back against this horrible media. POTUS must remind everyone what the "weak" did to stifle him after the mid-term of his first term.

Election security. Letting 20m illegal aliens vote will sink this country. Give them free shite, they vote for you, keep giving them free shite until the dollar is the peso.

This has been shown in polls over and over to be a non issue with voters. Always dead last in what people care anbout and cnn had a poll showing less than 5% of Ds and Rs care in relation to other topics. This is just an issue with Epstein bros on this board.

I don't think the dems will address any issues except carrying on with bashing Trump. If we don't hear anything from the dems during the summer, expect some sort of large-scale corruption or cheating, which would be no different when Biden was elected. He hardly did any rallies or appearances with very little public presence and low and behold they won the election. The GOP cannot and will not unify like the dems.

If Republicans want to keep the house, the need some court wins on gerrymandering issue in court. They also need for the economy to stabilize. The Supreme Court repealing tariffs would be a big boost, so long as Trump doesn’t pressure congress into codifying them. He’s lost his positive approval on immigration, but voters still trust republicans more on the issue, so reigning in ICEs actions would help among independents.

Even then the president historically has lost the house at midterms and the republicans have an incredibly small margin already. Doing a lot of that might ensure the Senate stays red though.

If the economy starts cranking this year then I like our chances. Also need to gerry mander more states for good maps because dems are doing the same.

Your question is based on a fallacious assumption.

GOP doesnt want to keep Congress. They hate having to govern. Too icky. They prefer to be in the minority, bitching about the Dems on Hannity and the Sunday shows while fundraising to "fix it next time."

The Louisiana SCOTUS case could end the Dems, bit somehow I think Roberts won’t let that happen.

Is really easier believe in stolen elections than to believe Trump might be unpopular?

I haven’t seen this anywhere except blue states. Some national polling still has this as 60/40 in support.

But I think ICE may be reigned in at some point way before next November. That’s a lot of potential illegal votes off the streets though.

I guess the big thing is voter ID.

This is correct.

Let's just keep our heads and vote the right way. We can let our friends know why we vote the way we do.

There is a good chance that the GOP loses ground in the mid-terms, and we have to be prepared to be resilient and to meet that challenge, if it happens.

If we can fix our election systems and make them honest, we will have a chance to win in the long run.
