How we feeling about the OL now, boys?

Top third of the SEC. Has a lot of upside if Devin Harper and Weston Davis play well.

I could see this as the lineup. Obvious wild card is where Dylan Harper ends up and if Weston Davis can hold on to the RT spot.

Everyone assuming Weston Davis is gonna be a starter lol. I think Tompkins or even Harper are more likely to start there tbh. Have we all forgotten Weston Davis was absolutely atrocious, borderline unplayable this year? He’s going to have to have a hell of an offseason and embrace the hard coaching in order to make a big enough jump necessary to start. I could see him being a rotational tackle and eventually overtake Tompkins once the raw skill marries up with the technique and football iq.

The lack of help around him could have been a factor. We’ll see. What’s that saying? You’re only as good as your weakest link? Well I see no weak links now. Let’s go for it all!!!

I never was unhappy about Kiffin telling the entire OL except one to look elsewhere. That was a bunch of overrated guys who spectacularly underachieved!
This line will be so much better and they’ll benefit from much better coaching and scheme. Similar to 2019. The 2019 line massively benefited from the scheme and play calls.

No one on the o line outside of Moore looked good under Brad Davis . He was a disasterous developer . Not to mention Davis had a strong close to the seaosn. He has a lot of talent and all the tools. He’s gonna have a stronger talent and coaching around him. Being a first year starter in the sec isn’t a walk in the park talent is still there still just 19

Davis should make a huge jump
theres a reason why freshman rarely start game 1 at tackle. its a huge jump from high school.

Harper is starting somewhere.
Soloman Thomas is the wildcard. A beast but unproven. My guess is he starts the year as a sub, but is starting by playoff time.
