We are lucky and do not have any neighbors running dogs.

I cannot imagine the frustration/anger of putting in all the work throughout the year, waking up early, walking to stand, etc only to have some dogs run through. I'm not sure how I would react if happened constantly and the neighbors didn't do anything to stop it.

Basically makes running dogs for hunting illegal. For deer, I see the point. However, for rabbits, coons, hogs, and squirrels that is asinine.

I think something needs to be changed so it is easier for landowners to have recourse against owners when they run all over their property but this bill ain't the way.

I don't have dogs that are an issue at my place thankfully, and I know that would get a lot of attention, but I just can't for the life of me understand how banning silencers and thermals helps with predator control.

Predators/nuisance animals are primarily out at night. How the frick are you supposed to hunt them without a thermal??

And why ban silencers??

Just a lot of stupid in this bill.

Idiots that don’t manage large properties are who put these bills out. Weren’t they republicans too? They should be ran out of the party.

Thermals because it’s easier to get hogs that are trap shy….and hogs get trap shy. Silencers because I don’t want to disturb the wildlife around me (plus my hearing lol).

Bunch of dumbasses. Who wrote it and sponsored this stupidity? So our MS neighbors know who to call out.

Hunting deer with dogs needs to be banned on public land!!!!!!!

Still hunting has little to no effect on majority of the land. Running dogs ruins any still hunters day even if they dropped them hounds a mile away.

This bill is dumb. Why did they try to lump deer hunting with dogs in a bill with predator control?

Im supportive of the deer dog hunting rules on large tracts fwiw.

Never had coon hunters trespass on my place.

All your angst will be relieved when the owner of said dogs lets you know he's sorry and that dogs can't read posted signs.

my cousin caught one letting dogs loose at his gate and the dude told him he was just trying to kill the deer that had been eating a disabled veteran's garden.

What kind of retards wrote this bill

Can't use thermals and silencers to take out nuisance wildlife? That's the only way I do it unless they pop out while I'm in a deer stand.

I did email Keen asking him to explain his position.

Shockingly enough, I've yet to get a response.

Friend of mine who’s a Mississippi representative said this bill is already shut down. Very poorly written bill by Keen, however the dog hunters have nobody to blame but themselves with bills like this being push forward. it’s not if but when.
