Republicans suck, but still need to vote for them because…

We simply need to buy time, that’s the best you can hope for with Republicans
They are useless for passing anything meaningful. But if we were to somehow hold Congress and win in 28, it may allow enough momentum to fill the benches and various departments with decent people who won’t be hard left commies.
Also, this would allow enough time for a more right wing Gen Z to come of age, and we can start winning in the culture setting up for bigger wins down the road
So while it kind of sucks to simply play stall ball with the RINOs, it is infinitely better than some radical like in VA getting into power and immediately shoving the Communist Manifesto down our collective throats.

It's squishy Recucks (the majority of republicans) who have allowed the DC Uniparty and the NWO Cultural Marxists to advance their political agenda.

There is no legitimate alternative. You're either voting for Republicans or voting for whoever wins that election. Maybe that's the Republican, but you could also end up letting the Democrat win.

There is also the theory about holding your vote, letting the Democrats win and give them enough rope to hang themselves. I know that we would have to put up with 2-4 years of suffering but the probability of long lasting blowback grows higher.

For appearances sake, they need to pretend vote to give some kind of illusion of a separation of parties.
The Dems vote in lockstep and give no fricks.

I know this is not DC but if voting for people like Fishback over Donalds in the Florida governors race and Fishback wins the primary, that would give politicians that are a lot less DC uniparty oriented the incentive to run.

That’s a terrible idea. The democrats have told you what they plan to do if they get power back. Pack the courts and go full gas on their policies. Given the chance, they will play every dirty trick you can think of and more to make sure we are right and truly fricked.
They already went there in the 2020 election, and that was the tip of the iceberg.

Totally agree. Democrats seek power at any cost. Republicans really don't want to be in power. They don't want the responsibility. Republicans would rather whine and complain all the while enjoying their cushy political lifestyle, parties etc. and get nothing done for the American people. I'm speaking specifically about Congress. There is absolutely no reason that the SAVE act and other legislation should not have been rammed through Congress. No arrests from Bondi and Patel..

I've listened to this my entire life. A slower march to insolvency and collapse is still a march to insolvency and collapse.

Dumb theory. Got to hold the line.

There is no time like the present. Just rally the troops and get out the vote. Now. For the 2026 midterms.

I’m sorry, but I have children. I have read the gulag archipelago. Bolsheviks went thru the countryside slitting Orthodox priests throats who would not submit to Communism.
Once they get power and flood the country with more 3rd worlders and pass amnesty, then change the national voting laws… it’s game, set, match

The reason most here bitch the loudest about the reckless GOP is because:
1) we will still grudgingly vote for them for the reasons stated
and
2) we know there are just enough "principled" conservatives out there completely willing to cut off their nose to spite their face and stay home, giving these races to the Dems.

We are definitely in a race against time but I’m afraid it’s too late . Too many takers and effed up women are allowed to vote. Part of me says let’s watch it burn, and then reset; the other part says keep fighting the good fight. I suppose the latter of the two is the right spirit.

With that mentality, you’re literally voting for the same people who will ultimately bring you down…..just on a slower scale.
We need a true America First party with tons of cash, PACs and actual patriots. Not grifters like eyepatch McCain

You'll never stop the advance of Democratic Socialism/NWO Cultural Marxism until you dismantle and reorganize the current educational system. All the progressive Woke BS we're fighting is being regenerated every day in the US educational system....from K-12 through the university, you're fighting progressive indoctrination.

People think they will eventually get the exact representation they want is mind boggling to me.
Your neighbor may agree with you on 99% of issues.
The guy down the road may agree with you on 95%.
The guy in the next town may agree with 90%.
By the time you get to another state, that number may be 60%.
When you get across the country it could be 10%.
Elections are always choosing the lesser of two evils and the person who agrees with you the most. If your positions are the minority, candidates toward the margins have less chance getting elected.
For example, if Trump agreed with me 100%, he couldn't get elected because Conservatism takes too much personal responsibility for 90% of this country. Therefore, he's a populist who sways his views based on who complimented him last and it won him two elections.
I don't agree with roughly 25% of what he does, but that's a hell of a lot better than a Democrat who I agree with 10% of the time.

I’m torn on this.
In an ideal world the order of events would’ve been to no seats the republicans like the Brit’s did to the Tory’s in their last election and destroy the party, then trump can come along and it can be refilled with its ranks better suited.
We never cleaned out the GOP before the Trump revolution though and it’s proving to be a massive problem. And the risk is that if we do it now we could roll back all progress made

100%.
But the system is rigged to where only those willing to politically "play ball" can even make the primaries with their campaigns.
The only choice we have is to vote for the controlled opposition and occasionally get a few actual, based conservatives (think Tim Burchett) on board, or don't vote, which is essentially a vote for some purple-haired pronoun-user with a Prius.

You dont have to keep voting the same ones.
In Louisiana, we don't have to vote for Cassidy again.
Kentucky is another state that keeps voting the same do nothing republicans in.
