I won't vote for Cassidy no matter what.

Guessing I'm not the only one.

What you are, what you're meant to be. Speaks his name, though you were born to me. Born to me, Cassidy

Gonna be a crowded R field. I hope we don’t water down the anti Cassidy position by throwing too many R candidates into the race and allow Cassidy back in. Graves is still pondering a run. We’re already splitting opposition votes with Letlow and Fleming.

The winner of the closed primary needs 50% +1 to move on to the runoff/general election. Therefore, if the anit-Cassidy vote is that number or greater, then Cassidy should not advance to the general election, no matter how many Rs run. Having a bunch of challengers probably guarantees him a spot in the closed primary runoff, but if all the anti-Cassidy voters line up and vote for whichever challenge makes that primary runoff, then he should be toast.

People just need to not get their feelings hurt during the campaigns and take their ball and go home if they don’t advance.

She helped Cassidy by this move IMO. Fleming is a much better candidate. But his age is only concern..

agree- I think this pretty much assures Cassidy a spot in the runoff- where he will get clobbered. Fleming is the man for the job.

Fleming is the far better candidate. Letlow would be an even bigger RINO than Cassidy IMO. She is not the person you want in that position during these times.

Our track record suggests this will be an issue

At this point, I think Republican voters just need to be (and I hope are) on the 'Anybody but Cassidy' bandwagon.

However, at this point, it's hard to say definitively that any one of the potential alternatives is any more or less of a potential wildcard policy-wise than the others. E.g., on paper, I like Flemming a lot, but on paper he's basically little more than an amalgam of Kennedy and Cassidy, when they first ran for Senate. I'd kinda prefer not to get just an amalgam of Kennedy and Cassidy.

Except for Xan, of course, who is and always will be the ultimate wildcard.

Not thrilled with this Trump endorsement - she has a more liberal voting record than Cassidy

Trump endorsement

If you look at past endorsements of candidates by current sitting officials, most don’t win.

Trump should just endorse Cassidy to put the whole onus on him.

I will not vote for letlow or Cassidy. Letlow was all about forced vaccinations and destroying rights during covid.

I hope not, but I tend to agree.

Just got the text survey on my phone.

I replied my mind was made up for Fleming before Trump endorsed Letlow.

No, I would not vote for Fleming. He has been a government bureaucrat for years making a living. I heard him speak when he was a US Congressman and his main takeaway was that there was not one really good government program. All he did was bash government. Excuse me, then why are you taking a paycheck. All talk, like all in the swamp. I vote conservative and Republican, not got him.
