I received 5 virtual Mastercards from T-Mobile totalling $1200. Is there any way to get cash instead?

Can't put hookers and blow on Mastercard?
This sounds like more an OT topic. Probably get more useful responses over there.

Yeah maybe so. It is just inconvenient not having a physical card and pin #.

Place online orders at Wal-mart or wherever you shop. You can't convert them to cash for a reason, because T-Mobile and the bank they use to issue the cards count on most of them not being redeemed. The only real problem gets introduced when you're trying to blow the last $4.13 on a card, etc.

Chatgpt has a couple of options

Legitimate Ways to Turn a Virtual Prepaid Card Into Cash
1. Transfer to a Payment App (Best Option if Allowed)

Some virtual prepaid cards work with:

PayPal

Venmo

Cash App

Apple Pay / Google Pay

How it works:

Add the virtual card as a payment method

Send money to a trusted person or secondary account

Withdraw to your bank

?? Many prepaid cards block P2P transfers, so this may not work.

Some but not all will work to buy money orders. My wife received two $100 Visa cards for Christmas. I bought two $99 money orders and then deposited them into our checking account. Most of the time the PIN will be set to whatever you use the first time.

I tried to use it in the store yesterday but it asked for a pin which I do not have. Is there a way to set a pin?

Either the PIN will be set to whatever you choose first or it'll be the last 4 digits of the card number. Most of the time you can log into the website on the back and set a PIN that way.

I tried this a few months ago with a Visa rewards card. For some reason neither PayPal or Venmo would allow me to add the funds to my accounts. I could use them to pay with, but not deposit the balance.

My grocery stores will always use the remaining balance off one card and then pay off the rest of the order with another. It's very simple and can be done at any of the self check outs also
