The country would be way better off if we followed Malcom X instead of MLK

All he did was lead black Americans in to a burning house and look how that turned out.

I’m sure you know this, but just for our readers, I’ll share some context.

Malcolm X espoused Black Nationalism. He would have had an Israel/Palestine situation in every major city had his dreams been fulfilled.

ETA: Not necessarily with the implied violence and constant terrorism, but separate political entities, walls, UN representatives, etc. That was the goal of Black Nationalism in the 60s.

I don’t know what you are asking. He and many others like Stokely Carmichael separated from MLK and actively campaigned for Black Nationalism.

The ultimate goal for any nationalist movement is a separate and self governing state.

It wasn’t MLK. It was those that took over after he was killed. Such as Jessie Jackson. MLK would not approve of DEI.

You mean where one group kills civilians from the other group and there are no repercussions for it?

Good thing we don’t have that in Americas cities

You are correct to chuckle. I’m not downplaying MLKs role or methods before 1964, but if you start looking at his words and actions after the Civil Rights Act of 1964, it is a significant change in goals.

He was still an avid supporter of nonviolent protest, but his goals were much more in line with the present day definition of equity, not equality.

Besides George Washington, no one in American history has been deified as MLK. He actually had an unfavorable opinion ranking amongst blacks and whites when he was assassinated.

X at least knew not to trust the white liberal. Unfortunately 95% of blacks are slaves to them today.

Hey dipshit. You can try to keep racism alive all you want. It's all your side has. No policy whatsoever just racism and feels while fricking over the country. You need help.

So in one thread you refer to RE Lee as a traitor for wanting to secede but think it's ok to do if it's Malcolm X?

Could you explain the difference to the class?

Malcolm X iS getting his way.
Separation of the races, race hatred.

MLK preached integration and cooperation. “Do not judge men by the color of their skin but by the content of their character”
