I invite you to watch Joseph Hogue’s breakdown on SMCI’s financials.
My average share cost is just north of $28. Absolutely ripping today, up over 11%. Nearing a $33 close.

Disagree on SMCI, agree on SOUN. I have a big position in SOUN and have added back to it after the huge drop with AI stocks from October to now.
SMCI has shitty arse management and its sector is under a lot more pressure. Plus its competitors are better than it. I did ride it up from $20s to $40s though.
SOUN is squarely beating competitors, including Google. It’s Amelia models win AI voice performance contests against Gemini, etc. It has a decent chance of achieving profitability this quarter, which could rocket the stock. It’s also one big ticket deal away in the fast food restaurant sector - the long rumored McDonald’s or other big chain could propel the stock to mid $20s

I think SMCI can his mid 40s again.

I feel like every stock that anybody has heard of will go up because the dollar is worthless due to hyperinflation and everyone is dumping them
It’s like how gold went up so much that people started buying silver. Computer stocks went up so much that all that is left to invest in is the offbrand fake ones

Sigh, I just unloaded SOUN on Friday as it hasn’t done anything… was in around $11. I guess I’ll buy back in.

SOUN has a pretty solid stock price cycle. Earnings come out and it explodes. It slowly withers after the peak , then explodes again. If you time it right you ca make nice change on it. I sold at 19 a while back. Bought back in at 10.80. Waiting on EOY earnings.

I'll offer a dissenting opinion -
SOUN: too many questions surrounding this company in a volatile industry segment and whose financials are an absolute disaster. SOUN would need some big news about partnerships with megacaps, or actually becoming profitable for me to view this stock as anything other than a risky short-term bet. Hopefully you get good news in February.
SMCI: despite the CEO's financial shenanigans (which Wall St. obviously hates) I still see huge upside because of their pipeline, backlog and partnerships with large AI datacenter players. SMCI margins will grow in FY26 thanks to a backlog of $13 billion and another $36 billion in revenue guidance. Their new set of full-stack datacenter buildout solutions should accelerate TTD for their customers. This stock is severely undervalued in part due to Wall St. distrust, and lower-than-expected growth in 2025 and rightly so, but I believe 2026 will be a good year for SMCI.
