How the hell did we get all 3 of these guys

Just finished watching all their highlights, and I know highlights only show the good, but damn I'm impressed. I truly think we'd be ok if any of these guys had to start a game. When we signed Clark I thought he would be a great heir and spot starter if QB1 was hurt. Then we got Leavitt and we all know how good he is. Then watching Longstreet's HS tape and he probably has the most upside of the 3. This is something

Kelly was right…we’re spoiled

I absolutely love the little bit of tape longstreet has from this season. dont be shocked if we end up starting him if Leavitt isnt 100% and/or sharp in fall camp. he has superstar potential and if it pisses off Leavitt that he may get to start than its whatever,we need to play whoever is the best and not who we paid the most for

We got them because we paid them well. And the brand LSU is huge.

Longstreet is going to be a superstar in Lanes system

Perfect world Leavitt balls out LSU makes playoff run, goes to draft as a high pick. Longstreet takes over from there

Lane recruited Longstreet at Ole Miss and he didn’t go there
Lane recruits Longstreet at LSU and he commits knowing he probably has to sit a year

See what happens when a coach actually does his job instead of playing 400+ rounds of golf.

This is Lane Kiffin's doing, not LSU.
LSU is the car. Kiffin is the driver.

The best part isn't that we got all three, it is that we have a staff that can develop them and scheme/playcall to actually use their abilities.
The future is bright.

Amazing.
Now let’s see if we can keep them all happy.

I've only seen one full game of Landen Clark in a season opening 45-17 loss between Elon vs Duke. In the highlights, Clark shows you all the tools he has from the elite gun to the dynamic runs.
But what the highlights don't show, and the full game does, is that he is not ready for primetime in the SEC just yet. He needs this year, for sure, under Kiffin's tutelage. Typical freshman flaws that can be worked out with reps: premature pocket-leaving, timing issues, 3 & outs, ball location hiccups (threw too high or behind). etc... just think of early season LSU games where a newbie gets some reps in the 4th qtr but the QB looks raw. That was Clark, in that one game I saw. He's now a soph, so I'm sure he improved over a full season, but I'm glad there's no rush to put him in games just yet. He has the tools to be a star one day.

Or Clark, not counting him out.

People are sleepin on Clark because he doesn’t have the star rating but he looks like a natural playmaker. Not saying he’s going to win a heisman but I don’t expect Longstreet to be a shoo in

It doesn't matter. One of Clark/Longstreet will stay and one will leave. Then you bring in 2 more backups next year

Damn, Wolfcola actually coming at us with a solid post

You don’t worry about “keeping them all happy” beyond the 2026 season.
You have to recruit your entire team every season anyway so you recruit/buy the best team you can then let the chips fall where they may.

I didn't think we would land him tbh. But yes going to have to compete anywhere. Tennessee May get their starter back. Miami OC is high on their current backup. I know Lane and Weiss have plenty of metrics they can point to selling their offense. But imo Levitts injury has a silver lining which goes Longstreet a full spring to get an edge. Gonna be very interesting
