The departure would give them fodder to discuss but most importantly, they could not have Ole Miss in the championship game due to the ratings tanking since no one wants to watch Ole Miss.
Appears they were right since a Kiffin coached and Kiffin stanced Ole Miss would have destroyed Miami and Indiana!!

I would tell them something else that would piss them off. TV execs didn’t like either Ole miss or State being in the SEC. Low ratings/low market. They would like North Carolina in the SEC.

I do know this. The playoff committee was going to drop Ole and Tired Mississippi down the seedings and cost them a home playoff game unless they had an offensive staff in place. So we loaned them 6 coaches.
This after Ole Miss told their staff that anyone who is going with Kiffin to hit the door and don’t come back.

The Ole Miss fan base will not ever forget why Kiffin left. It is already the new monkey on its' team's back. Fortunately, they feel it is the TV money that forced the leave.
Ole Miss will probably set up their own network going forward. I look for them to recruit the infamous "Stingray", the former Miss State YT personality, to help build the media presence.
