We need a good QB to jump in the portal. LSU needs to start tampering some heavy hitters!

I'd take Clark. Outside Leavitt no sexy names on that list. Need someone with Clark though because you don't know if he can make the next level jump yet. Guys like KNight have potential but we need as sure a thing as we can get with our brutal schedule. We can't take development starters as our starting QB unless you plan on having a 4-5 loss season.

The problem is is there really aren’t many good experienced QBs in college football right now. And the ones that are there just aren’t coming.

I know he lacks experience, but Knight has the kind of athleticism at QB you can lean on when other things aren’t working. We saw that with Daniels in 2022. I know that’s not a direct comparison, but Knight has shown some flashes of elite athleticism.

You do realize the portal is far from closed for others that want to enter right? LSU will be in touch with the agents of MANY current starters. The fricking crying and bitching by supposedly grown arse men is mind blowing. It’s been a constant pre anything bitch fest like a bunch of cackling old hens. How about let Lane and staff do what they’re paid multi millions to do before all of you blow a gasket?

Look at those bold words and repeat it to yourself over and over, then pass it on to the others that are bitching before the staff is fully done. The staff has plenty of time to shake trees and contact agents.
