They have to come off of the one shift equals one season thing??

Nobody in the world would keep that job. Each day is like the worst shift ever plus a mass shooting??

The best thing to do is change the formula that really really worked well for season 1.

You're hired!

Fair enough. I am thinking of it as an old school show. 10 seasons or so. Not the way things are now. 5-6 seasons is the sweet spot. I was thinking of what the characters look like over a “week” that lasts 7 years IRL.

It isn’t going to necessarily be the next day is it?

I could see them swapping out cast members as needed.

Literally the only complaint I heard about this show was the shoehorned in woke stuff. I thought it was there, but not enough to take me away from enjoying the show. I watched the creators and writers being interviewed on CBS Sunday morning and I doubt it’ll be different this season.

As far as last season, I didn’t think sending the black doctor home or the drug abuse blow up added anything to the story. Just my 2 cents on that. I thought it was great though.

Maybe it’s more like the worst shift ever equals one season.

I could see them completing the story in season 2 and then getting a new cast but keeping the formula for season 3. I really like the show but it would be insane to keep having seasons that represent a single shift with the same people. There's only so much you can do.

Season 2 is supposed to take place months after Season 1 did.

It's no different than 24 was...

It's just 24 in a hospital. Minus Kiefer Sutherland killing lots of people.

Excellent start, all of the actors are back in it. I was thinking Langdon wouldn't be or Dana.

Because they mixed up the outcomes. The druggie getting sent home causes more turmoil for the staff to handle a trauma center during a mass shooting. We see the potential ramifications of someone’s addiction and we see how firm Robby is in running a clean department. He should have stayed home or come back and be sent away again.

The black doctor should have had to suck it up and come back to work. Realize that as doctors, it’s their duty to save those who are hurting. The shooting called for it.

Instead, she stayed home and the druggie came back to be a hero.

I mean as long as it is not back to back shifts, it works. If the main guy is in season 3 then it will at least be 3 months after this shift. I could see them doing one shift per year if they keep the same actors, but as others have said, i think they will switch them all out but keep a few main ones.
