I know some people yank them down Dec 26…. Some after New Year…sometimes it just happens when it happens.

What’s the longest you’ve ever had your stay up for one reason or another?

Slide it in the extra closet until November and plug it back in.

I have a plastic tree I've kept up all year by decorating for each season

My wife insists that all the Christmas decorations come down 12/26, EXCEPT the Christmas tree. It comes down 1/2.

It is now a Mardi Gras tree. If I get really lazy, it will become an Easter tree then a 4th of July tree.

Liturgically the Christmas season ends with the Baptism of the Lord, which is the second Sunday after New Year’s.

Mine will come down this weekend and Monday is the day our garbage pick up picks up the large items, so win win.

Made the year with one up one time. We had a 6 month old and started a business on 1/1 one time. It was quite a hectic year.

We've had the flu for the last week so ours is still up. Usually goes down NYE or NY's Day.

We normally leave ours up until NYE but this year woke up to a ton of webs and baby spiders in the top about 3 days after Christmas. We got that tree out with quickness.
