Lamar getting special treatment

Saw this in an ESPN article about Harbaugh's firing:
There was an article/opinion piece last month by Mike Preston, a Baltimore reporter that fans hate that went into details along the same lines. The ESPN report probably gives that more credence:
Makes me think that maybe the owner Biscotti did choose between Lamar and Harbaugh and the rift between the two was weighing on the locker room.

Jackson's lack of participation in voluntary spring workouts and his new routine of sitting out one practice per week this season became a point of friction between Jackson and the coaching staff, the team source said.

The breakdown of an NFL player’s body is natural, but Jackson could help himself. He doesn’t need to be up late at night playing video games or falling asleep in team meetings. He needs to train more around The Castle instead of only attending mandatory minicamps, where he disappears after one day.
A major problem, a lot of it on the Ravens, is that there are team rules and then there are rules for Jackson. That’s why Baltimore practices in the heat of the afternoon instead of in the morning.
Once the Ravens become critical of Jackson, he becomes more withdrawn.

He has to be the most protected QB I’ve ever seen. He’s a choke artist supreme.

Did anyone see the Reddit post made by an Ex-GF of a Ravens player who left him because he cheated on her?
This was posted last month and this was verified by the mod team on the Raven subreddit to be credible. So far, this checks out.

It would be one thing for him to get the rules after bringing home the hardware but his total collapse in the playoffs should give pause before doling out the preferential treatment. With that said, it was probably time for Harbaugh to move on to another team.

Jayden has one less playoff win and already half the TD throws in his career than Lamar and his run last year is better than any of Lamar’s playoff runs. 6 less seasons played too.

Completion %: 65.8%
Passing Yards: 822
Pass TDs: 5
INTs: 1
Passer Rating: 97.9
Rushing Yards: 135
Rushing TDs: 1
Win–Loss: 2-1
Lamar Jackson – Playoff Stats (Career)

Games Played: 8
Completion %: ~60.6%
Passing Yards: 1,753
Pass TDs: 10
INTs: 7

I figured most star players get special treatment. Especially veterans.

Marcus Spears was almost in tears defending Lamar on ESPN the other day. It’s bizarre.

Any other QB coming up short as much as Lamar is drug through the mud. Josh Allen gets shite on by the media every single offseason.

Hopefully he can get back on the field and build on those totals!

There were rumblings of a Lamar/Harbaugh rift throughout the season, and those rumors gained steam the last few weeks.
After the Pittsburgh game, reporters asked Lamar direct questions about his expectations going forward. He dodged any questions about his future with the team, and didn’t offer any support or praise when asked about Harbaugh.

What? No he doesn't. The media loves Allen and pretty much universally agrees that he's fantastic but unfortunately has ran into prime Mahomes in the playoffs. Nobody is dragging Allen.

He almost has more MVPs than playoff wins. Why this dude is viewed with such esteem around the NFL world, I’ll genuinely never know.

Baltimore should of let the troll heal up, and lose. replenish the depth with high picks, and make another run next season
playing it out was dumber than tim walz

Yeah brother at some point regular season accolades start to lose their luster when he’s shown he’s a bonafide loser in the playoffs. He has the same amount of MVPs as Mahomes but Mahomes has 3 SBs. Lamar yet to even reach one.

Oh, you know. You know exactly why.

If I had to choose which of Harbaugh or Jackson will be in a Super Bowl at some point in the near future, I'd bet on Harbaugh.
