“Based on its foreign policy principles and its pacifist vocation, Mexico makes an urgent call to respect international law, as well as the principles and purposes of the U.N. Charter, and to cease any act of aggression against the Venezuelan government and people,” the statement said, according to an English-language translation. “Latin America and the Caribbean is a zone of peace, built on the basis of mutual respect, the peaceful settlement of disputes and the prohibition of the use and threat of force, so any military action seriously jeopardizes regional stability.”

It wasn't against the government or the people. It was against Maduro, who just so happened to take over the government after losing the election.

Certainly they understand the concept of war. Either you fight or you surrender. Regardless, your mechanism to finance your war is about to be destroyed.

I've seen melts today from the Mexican President, Mamdani, Thomas Massie, schizo lolberts in the North Pole, communists, HR workers, and (most bizarrely) hyper-christian theocrats. I think this was a good move

The operation was already over. Weapons were already cleaned and stored. Everyone was showered and they were all drinking and celebrating by the time she said this.

There was no longer any operations occurring.

I think he statement was a little late.

I absolutely do not view Mexico as "pacifist." Not in the least.
