Her family had to move to Bogota Colombia because they got forced out of their houses and forced to give up their farms. People have no idea how bad it was in Venezuela. I’m sure that people there are happy, and maybe people can start moving back.

Great recent interview on triggernometry with a Venezuelan economist.

What the communists did to millions is simply evil. This is a great day for Venezuelans.

There are a lot of Venezuelans in neighboring South American countries too that can now return home. This is a huge win for the world.

So should we intervene in every country that we hear awful stories of? I hear it sucks in Haiti too

People have no idea. Just find a random Venezuelan, sit back and listen. 8 million of them in the largest diaspora in South American history- a complete creation of Leftist ideology. I was saying this day would come on this board 20 years ago and I was ensured by Sean Penn and board Leftists that justice had been installed and a thriving country was being built.

They need to remember this when they get back into a voting booth.

If they are in our hemisphere and supporting China, Russia and Iran in the attempted take down of America, yes you moron.

We should.

I know a few Venezuelans who became U.S. citizens. They are educated and proud Americans. I'm excited for them to be able to rebuild their homeland. We can be great economic partners

My Venezuelan co-worker said a lot of bartering goes on. She buys something compact, like 50 tubes of toothpaste, and mails them to her friend stuck over there. The friend then does trades like a tube to a neighbor who has an extra roll of toilet paper. It's because the stores are empty.

I know a person born in Venezuela but is now an American citizen. Cried in happiness for family still there this morning when we spoke.

Really tough when your side loses one of its own. I extend my sympathy to you and your fellow Democrats on the loss of one of your bright lights, but at least you still have Cuba!
