Is it weird that Latinos are still underrepresented in football and basketball?

Latinos are the second largest and the fastest growing ethnic group in the U.S. however they are not well represented in the top two most popular Americans sports. There's a high school near me that's like 80% Latino but damn near every kid on the football and basketball teams are still Black or White ... sprinkle of Latino .... I'm like damn that's sorta weird. I thought by 2026 most Latinos would be Americanized but they are not ... most still need to be "broken in". Americans love football and basketball ... Latinos do but they don't to me.
What say ya'll? Will it ever happen? I even looked at the top football and basketball players/stars in more heavily Hispanic cities like San Antonio and LA and they are still mostly Black and White athletes.

Look up NFLer Alejandro Villanueva ... 6'9" 320 ... they have plenty of athlete bodied men and women just like every ethnic group .. maybe a smaller % but still a lot of people

That's because in America, most of our Latinos were Mexican and they're the worst athletes, even Puerto Ricans make excellent baseball players And then you get into the third world countries

If you’ve been to a 3rd world country, nutrition and high quality food are an issue. Give them a few generations and they’ll get bigger.

Yes. We should force all ethnicities to play football. Even if they don’t want to and are not good at it.

I thought the same. I think maybe because landscaping is a luxury most of them can't afford ... at least the working and middle class ones. I only hire Latinos for yard work and they always do an amazing job at a good price. I don't hire nobody but them for any house or yard needs. Also a lot of these guys are strong
