Was 2025 one of the best weather years for Baton Rouge you can remember?

Record snowfall, no hurricanes, summer was not brutal. All in all, one of the better ones I can remember.

Record snowfall

Why are we considering this a good thing?

If I want snow I go to Colorado

You got kids or grandkids? Their smiles made those two days very much a good thing.

If you took out the weather from June to September, Louisiana weather wouldn't be that bad. The heat will humble you, but I rather the extreme heat than the extreme cold.

I was about to complain about a warm Christmas but you’re right. This was a pretty kickass year for the weather here.

the sept/oct drought sucked but otherwise it was a very good weather year. No tropical storms or other high wind events

Mild summer, had a couple cold snaps. Global warming treated us well this year.

Because one legit snowfall was enough to let the kids play for a couple days, then it melted and disappeared. I don’t want snow like Colorado has, that’s why I don’t live there.

I’d trade a tropical storm for 50 degrees on Christmas Day.

It was an above normal Summer with August being right at normal and the rest being above. It was just that you all got so abused by the two prior Summers that one even remotely close to normal seemed like it was mild.

No. Stout had me shitting my pants about ice dams on the over hang of the roof so I was up there cleaning the lower 6 feet of roof edge.
